There's a difference between stuff that "makes sense a bit" and "balls-to-the-wall crazy", like Qatar and Oman laynching invasions of friendly neighbouring states at the same time using the threat of Indian nuclear arms to try and fend rivals off

Just a heads up, you're talking to the guy who signed a peace treaty with DPRK as Australia

Fuck that noise

Everyone on team India should be permanently banned from any nuclear powers.

Fucking ridiculous.

I actually disagree with this one.

While you'll (and I'll) disagree with what India has done, you can't deny that it's made it more entertaining instead of having team USSR / Team America at each others throats all the time.

My only issue is with having irl friends (I'm being nice and acting like none of them were his alts) sign on as countries just to save your ass unrealistically. I'd agree with what Videospirit suggests that, say, at least Belgium's government (played by either an India alt or a friend he talked into joining just to break the game) should suffer from enormous unpopularity and getting voted out of office for pouring money into India.

Like, I'm fine with doing massively stupid shit in-game. I'm not fine with breaking the game by recruiting people to burn the available moneyed countries for your benefit to bail you out.

This is more reasonable.

It seems like half the hate is because he's playing "badly".

Signing mates up purely to help you, not great.

Doing whatever you want IG? Sure, but be ready to face the international community.

Apparently the nuclear war chance has increased from 20% to 33.3%.

Do massively stupid shit as non-relevant countries, sure - it'll be amusing and probably generate fun for some people.

But as India? Pakistan? Israel etc etc? Is it that hard to act properly? India is one of the strongest nations in the game and the leader of the NAM movement.

Don't sign up for important countries if your entire gameplan is 'lets make shit entertaining'.

It might entertain you, but when you've caused the entire region to go tits up in war and destruction and potentially raise the nuclear war chance, all you're doing is ruining other people's fun.

I'd also like to add that I hope countries who force the game to be delayed, only to pull back the action at the last minute, are punished in some way.

I don't know if Ismail IS doing that, and if so then my apologies.

The fact that we just made it to turn 6 was great, but unfortunately we can't reach the 90's, which is sad. All these countries with kewl investments will be useless, won't even see the fruits of their investments.
