While the lost jobs weren't coming back soon, the companies stablizied. She quickly ran in the Republican Primary and won with 56% of the vote against a local judge who was best known for his wife beating and hard drinking. The November election was a pushover with the millions she had on hand of her own money, and she joined the Texas State Legislature with a platform of making Texas friendlier to do business in.

Change your state that you wish to be governor of. Iowa is not open, and I believe Massachusetts is the only governorship open.

Bio: Raised in a family who were stalwarts in the old US labour movement, Donald Blake brings an old school populist left style politics, that are somewhat outdated, but still held enough appeal to get him into public office. Sometimes accused of being a Marxist, due to such affiliations as a youth, he has drifted more towards the Democratic Socialist ideologies expousted in Europe, and has taken deep influence as well from 70's British Labour figures like Red Robbo, who were subjects of interest in University.
