Greetings all,

As the conventional international markets for Swedish industries are becoming increasingly saturated we have identified a year-long 30 credit investment opportunity to increase our Electronics sector and competitiveness in the global marketplace. As we have 10 credits available we ask for a 20 credit loan from the World Bank to complete this investment.

((I am not quite sure how to calculate interest and repayment on this as I would prefer to pay off the loan after the investment completes. Would it be easier to take the full 30 credits as a loan and begin repayment immediately?))

I would approve.

As far as interest rates go, we typically assign around 5% varying for circumstances and region. (Whilst WB lending rates were typically higher, the lack of inflation in this game merits a decrease in interest rates.)

My basic offering would therefore be a 10 year loan of 20 credits to be repaid over the duration. Approximating the interest in order to end up with integer results, if paid back over the duration of the loan 5 payments of 2 credits and 5 payments of 3 credits interspersed evenly would cover it, whilst keeping the total interest paid low at 5 credits.

How would that sound?

That sounds perfectly reasonable and we would be happy to accept such terms.

We concur with the German terms, we would like to suggest that France be one of the major partners in this loan, our own recent heavy investment in high tech industry and education means that there will be a considerable synergy between our efforts and would help to enhance Swedens development.
